MAHONING VALLEY?

This will be the first of two meetings against the Mahoning Valley Thunder for the Talons. Tulsa has never met face to face with the Thunder until now. The Talons will also be visiting Mahoning Valley on April 25th. Some may be asking where Mahoning Valley is at and wanting to know a little about them. The Thunder are actually located in Youngstown, Ohio and this will be their third season in the af2. The team is coming off of a poor 3-13 season and is so far 1-1 on the season.… Continue

The Talons hit the road this week and head to Des Moines, Iowa to face the 1-0 Barnstormers. Iowa defeated Milwaukee 60-38 in an impressive week 1 victory.

SHARPEN UP

Tulsa managed to grab a win against the Horsemen, but it was ugly and a much closer game than it should have been. Obviously the 4 INT’s by Allgood is something that will have to be controlled and quickly as we head further into the season. RETURNING TALENT

The Talons have managed to bring back a lot of well known players and playmakers from the 2008 squad. QB Justin Allgood, WR Jeff Hughley, DB’s Delenell Reid and Jermaine Hope, LB Jamar Ransom, and K Luke Phillips just to name a few.
