Haha.. I was hoping Spokane would be the only Shock after they moved from Detroit.. As much as the WNBA sucks, i wish they were the Tulsa Tempo. Oh well, not enough people watch it for it to matter.. after all these years, im surprized the WNBA is still around, especially with all these teams going out on their own and not being sister teams to the NBA. Does Tulsa care enough to keep them more than a few seasons anyway?

Well, not quite true. While very few people may watch the WNBA, last year their average attendence was about twice that of the af2, just so you know. And Washington's team gets more people per game that even the Spokane Shock. Some WNBA teams outdrew some AFL teams as well.

The only reason they had a larger attendance is because they have more seats than us. If we had more seats in our arena we would have sold them out as well!

11,338 average for one of the largest markets in the country is still a small turn out. If the Spokane Arena had 15,000 seats we would still sell out every game!

True, and I'm not making the argument that they do well. Just saying that the statement that not enough people watch it to keep them around isn't correct because league wide the pull twice as much as the af2 did. And many of those teams are still there. I've never seen a game. Women playing basketball doesn't interest me. But I always get a kick out of Arena Football fans saying how no one watches it when it doubles their attendence. I won't include Spokane in that as you sell out all your games like you said, but the af2 as a whole... Of course, af1 doesn't have any attendence info yet.
