I thought a team or 2 would fold mid season but i didnt expect it to happen durring the first game.....

The Twisters/Diamonds have had money problems since the current owners took over in Dec 2008. If they fold during the year or after the season it won't be because of what league they did or didn't associate themselves with...it will be due to bad management and lack of money. They are already setting the stage so that if they do fold they can blame it on lack of support from the community.

The average fan won't be able to tell the differnce in AFL and IFL. Both are played indoors and have 8 men on the field trying to get the ball in the endzone (or defensively trying to prevent the ball from getting to the endzone).

There's a post on OSC saying the Wild might not have had a letter of credit on file and that there's a possibility of a replacement team playing their schedule. And they call themselves the premiere league...lol

You know the twisters/dim are my home town team as well! I have been a season ticket holder for a long time and this year i am not. Funny thing is in 2000 the first year we averged 16 thousand which is HUGGEEE and is the bottom part of verison arena. After that we had a few more years of great attendance but since then it has gone down almost everyy year! I wish the Twisters/diamonds would have joined the AFl so they could be part of the best arena league but at the moment I do not think there was any way they would have the money to be in the "Major league". thats just my rambling two cents!
